Rouslana was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She graduated from the University of Finance in Saint-Petersburg. Rouslana traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia in her positions of Marketing Director for a Hong Kong export company and for a Russian company producing products sold throughout Europe.

Rouslana lived in the Netherlands before she moved to Tulsa in 2000. She has previous experience as an art gallery director and has organized various international exhibitions, art auctions and art appraisals.

Rouslana has been an active community volunteer in the art scene of Tulsa. She organized and curated the Exhibition of Russian Art at TPAC in 2006. She also serves on the advisory board of Tulsa Symphony.

At present Rouslana works as an interior decorator and an art dealer.
