Odeum Theatre Company, in collaboration with Theatre Tulsa, has announced auditions for the first production of its 2012-2013 season, “Hamlet,” by William Shakespeare.

The production will feature an adult cast as well as a teen cast. The actors will work together in integrated rehearsals, and perform separate adult and teen shows during the run of the production.

Adult auditions will be held Sunday, August 12, at 1:30 p.m. Callbacks will be Monday, August 13, at 7:00pm.

Teen auditions will be held Sunday, August 26, at 1:30 p.m. Callbacks will be Monday, August 27, at 7:00pm.

All auditions will be held at the Theatre Tulsa offices at 412 N. Boston.

Actors are asked to prepare a one-minute monologue for the audition. The monologue does not need to be by Shakespeare. The audition will also feature cold readings from the script.
