Spring Stars

SONY DSCSpring Stars is an interactive day camp held to help beginning and intermediate young actors explore theatre and the excitement of acting, singing, and dancing. Students are taught through interactive games and activities, character work, scene work and more. Each session ends in a recital held for friends and family.




Theatre Bootcamp 

onceislandjrTheatre Bootcamp is the most exciting youth theatre opportunity in town.  Students will learn the fundamentals (and then some!) of voice and diction, movement, acting, improvisation, and character development all through an interactive rehearsal process. The Bootcamp results in a fully staged, fully costumed production.  All sessions are taught by dedicated, enthusiastic teachers who have degrees in theatre. This is program is open to ages 10-17 and is tuition free. The spring 2014 session ends a production of the pirate classic Treasure Island! 

BY AUDITION ONLY. Spring Auditions for the 2014 session will be held January 31st. 


Broadway Bootcamp 

This musical theatre interactive is for youth ages 10-17.  This course is led by some of Tulsa’s most experienced and enthusiastic musical theatre teachers, with personal, one-on-one attention.  The course covers musical theatre essentials – auditioning, vocal music, choreography, character building, improvisation and more. Each session ends in a fully-staged, fully-costumed production at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.



New Artists Apprenticeship Program

5277551eb08cd.imageTheatre Tulsa New Artists  Apprentices will have the chance to assist theatre professionals on the various aspects of the productions, as well as work behind the scenes.  New Artists will work in tandem with TT’s professional stage managers, designers, technicians, directors, and teachers for a truly hands on experience. Apprentices will have the opportunity to attend auditions, casting sessions, production meetings, technical rehearsals, and all performances!



Master Class Saturdays 

tomOne Saturday per month   Theatre Tulsa will hold unique and challenging Master Classes for actors of all ages. These Master Classes will be taught by highly trained individuals with a passion for their subject! Adults and children alike will be able to choose a course that sparks their interest.  We will be offering a little bit of everything from Shakespeare to Stanislavsky to Fosse. So take one class, take three, take them all – it’s up to you.




Reader’s Theatre Club for Adults

DSC05570Practice performance skills through the oral reading of classic and contemporary plays. A great way to get involved with out committing a lot of time. Classes are held once a month with the occasional opportunity to perform.
