Theatre Tulsa educates and develops students of all ages and ambitions, from the beginner to the Broadway bound. We offer a myriad of courses, workshops, and seasonal camps that turns students into pros in dance, acting, and vocal technique. From diction to demi-plies, characterization to improv, we help polish young stars until they shine.

Broadway Academy Summer 2016 

This summer, Theatre Tulsa is taking musical theatre training to a whole new level. Broadway Academy. It will be like no other summer camp you have ever experienced! Broadway Academy will feature three levels of instruction: Broadway Beginners, Broadway Bootcamp, and Broadway Bound. The courses feature all-day training in singing, acting, and dancing, and will combine at the end of summer for a fully-staged production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! Challenging and fun, Broadway Academy is perfect for any age or experience level.

Broadway Babies

Our all-new early childhood program, Broadway Babies, helps the youngest stars develop skills in imagination, movement, and storytelling. Broadway Babies allows each child to express ideas and feelings in a nurturing and fun environment. As children engage in dramatic play they will learn to use words, solve problems, and collaborate with others.

 New Artists Apprenticeship Program

Theatre Tulsa New Artists Apprentices assist theatre professionals on the various aspects of the productions, as well as work behind the scenes. New Artists will work in tandem with TT’s professional stage managers, designers, technicians, directors, and teachers for a truly hands on experience. Apprentices will have the opportunity to attend auditions, casting sessions, production meetings, technical rehearsals, and all performances!

Master Class Series 

Theatre Tulsa regularly holds unique and challenging Master Classes for actors of all ages. These Master Classes will be taught by highly trained individuals with a passion for their subject! Adults and children alike will be able to choose a course that sparks their interest.  We will be offering a little bit of everything throughout the year. So take one class, take three, take them all – it’s up to you.

Page to Stage 

Page to Stage was created to expose students to live performances and enhance knowledge of history, culture and drama. Additionally, Theatre Tulsa instructors will go to the schools and present a study guide and lead students in a discussion of theatre. This fall, Theatre Tulsa will present student matinee of Oklahoma! to school students.

Reader’s Theatre Club for Adults

Practice performance skills through the oral reading of classic and contemporary plays. A great way to get involved with out committing a lot of time. Classes are held once a month with the occasional opportunity to perform.
