SummerSTARS allows children to explore the wonder of theatre and the excitement of acting. Children will learn the basic foundations of physical and vocal acting skills, improvisation and character development through interactive games and activities.
The curriculum will develop student’s storytelling skills, enhance creativity and imagination, and will even improve concentration and coordination – skills you can use on or off stage. On the last day of class, all students will perform what they have been working on with a short performance created by their own imagination and talent.
SummerSTARS is for beginner to intermediate young actors ages 7-12 who want to learn the fundamentals of acting. No experience is necessary, but even seasoned actors will be able to gain new knowledge.
The program is taught by a small team of dedicated and inspiring teachers with years of experience in all aspects of theatre. There will be a 1:10 teacher-student ratio, ensuring that every child gets the “star attention” they deserve.
