Theatre Tulsa - History 1990's

1990 - Theatre Tulsa relocates its general offices, costume shop and rehearsal space to 207 N. Main, one block from one of its first "homes," the Tulsa Municipal Theater, which is now known as the Brady Theater.

1991 - The Delaware Playhouse, Theatre Tulsa's "home" for over 60 years, is sold.

December 1994 - A musical adaptation of "Miracle on 34th Street," written for Theatre Tulsa, premieres at the PAC. The show, produced in community and professional groups across the country, remains a Tulsa holiday favorite.

Fall, 1996 - Theatre Tulsa begins its 75th Diamond Anniversary Season. Actor Tony Randall serves as the Honorary Chairman along with Gov. Frank Keating and First Lady Kathy Keating. Theatre Tulsa is the oldest continuously-running community theater west of the Mississippi River and the seventh oldest in the nation.
