this summer's Day Camps, providing instruction in acting (for stage, film, and musical theatre), improv, mime, magic, and mask making. Class size is limited, so sign up soon.
Camp I - June 27-July 1 - for ages 6 to 9 - mornings 9-noon OR afternoons 1-4 Camp II - July 5- 8 - for ages 6 to 9 - mornings 9-noon OR afternoons 1-4 Camp III - July 11-15 - for ages 9-13 - 9am to 4pm Camp IV - July 18-22 - for ages 9-13 - 9am to 4pm
Camp V is the "Aesop's Fables Performance Camp," running July 25-30 from 9am to 4pm and open to students aged 6 to 15. This class will be performing "Aesop's Fables" on July 30 and 31. The show requires a large and flexible cast, and students will be involved in all aspects of the performance, including costume, makeup, and technical production. Additional rehearsals and work sessions will be required.
Placement in Camp V is by audition, which will be held at the ACT Studio, 1532 S. Harvard, on June 25 at 1pm. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and a one- minute song.
