On Golden Pondby Ernest Thompson May 21-23 & 27-29, 2010 - Williams Theatre An endearing story about an elderly Norman and Ethel Thayer who have returned for the 48th year to their lake house located beside Golden Pond in Maine. The couple is bisited by their adult daughter, Chelsea, her boyfriend, Bill Ray, and his son, Billy. But the summer routine takes a turn when Chelsea and Bill leave Billy to stay while they vacation in Europe. In the months that follow Norman's relationship to Chelsea's eventual stepson will be put to the test and vice versa, but what will become of Norman's relationship to Chelsea. |
