“Tuesdays With Morrie” is one of the most life-affirming tales in American theatre, telling the story of the bond between a writer and his mentor, Morrie. Even as Morrie fights a losing battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease, his spirit never breaks as he imparts his enduring love of life onto his friend.
This January, Theatre Tulsa proudly brings this powerful tale to life for one weekend only – with Tulsa acting powerhouses Tom Berenson and Freddie Tate taking the stage.
As we begin a new year, we ask that you tell us about your “Morrie” – the mentor who inspired you to live your life to the fullest, helping you become the person you always hoped you could be.
Send us your story about your personal Morrie, and post it to this site. For every person’s story we receive before “Morrie” closes Sunday, Jan. 13, Theatre Tulsa will make a $5 donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Theatre Tulsa will also pick a favorite Morrie story. If you win, you’ll receive two tickets to the show, plus a gift certificate for dinner. All on us.
Begin the new year by opening your heart, telling us your story and helping others in their fight against Muscular Dystrophy. Your personal story is all we ask. (And check out the Morrie stories we’ve already received.)
“Tuesdays With Morrie” runs Jan. 10-13 at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. Reserve your tickets today!
