Theatre Tulsa has announced the date of its annual gala, Broadway Ball.

The 2018 Broadway Ball will be held Friday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at The Mansion at Woodward Park.

This year’s event will be “Cirque,” an upscale circus style based on the popular Cirque du Soleil theatrical performances. The theme is also a tie-in to Theatre Tulsa’s upcoming “Barnum: The Musical” production opening in November.

Theatre Tulsa’s Broadway Ball is a fundraiser for the local theatre company that features silent auctions, a wine pull and a popular jewelry pull, along with live performances from Theatre Tulsa actors, singers and musicians.

The black-tie optional event will be hosted by Mark Frie and is open to all Theatre Tulsa fans and supporters.

This year’s event is chaired by Pat Hobbs and honorary chairs Brent and Lucia Laughlin.

General admission tickets will be $125 in advance, and $150 the week of the event. Tickets and more information about the event are available at theatretulsa.org/broadwayball
